Our Services > Employment Law

Employment Law transcends the breath of the employer and employee relationship and with the ever increasing legislative involvement there is a continued need to obtain legal advice on employment related issues. In employment disputes the stakes are often high from a financial and emotional perspective.  Clients often seek advice at an early stage in an effort to reduce the risk of a claim or enhance the chances of successfully pursuing a tribunal claim.

We act for employers and employees which enables us to provide advice to our clients from a much broader perspective and pride ourselves on the provision of pragmatic and commercially sound advice.

Our Areas of Practice

We advise our clients in relation to contentious and non-contentious employment issues including:-

  • Dismissals
  • Redundancy
  • Compromise and Termination Agreements
  • Disciplinary and grievance procedures
  • Discrimination
  • Equality and diversity
  • Drafting employment contracts, policies and procedures
  • TUPE transfer implications

We also provide advice and representation in relation to professional misconduct proceedings before the Health Professions Council, General Social Care Council and other such regulatory bodies.

Our Fees:-

We offer a fixed or capped fee for an initial consultation and/or the provision of advice on the merits of your claim. We also accept instructions from indivuals who have the benefit of legal expenses insurance.

Employment Practices Insurance

We are able to offer 'Employment Practices Insurance' to our employer clients to provide an indemnity against any future employment claims.  Under the terms of the insurance policy, subject to a yearly audit of the employer’s policies and the payment of a monthly premium, we are able to provide expert advice and representation.
