Belerta Rexhepaj is an associate solicitor with Johns & Saggar. Her specialist areas are Immigration, Charity and Public Law.  

Belerta is an experienced specialist Immigration solicitor with over 5 years experience in Immigration Law. She has worked for a local firm prior to joining Johns & Saggar in 2006. 

Belerta advises businesses, charities and individuals in all areas of business and personal Immigration to the UK as well as European free movement rights.  

Belerta has particular expertise in dealing with applications and appeals for individuals under the points based system as Tier 1 Entrepreneurs and Investors, Tier 2 (General) Sponsored Skilled workers and Tier 4 (Students). She also deals with all applications and appeals outside the points based system. 

In addition, Belerta advises businesses and charities on how to obtain and keep a highly trusted status.  She also advises charities with setting up and registering with the charity Commission. Some of Belerta’s recent work includes:

  • Advising a large charity on obtaining a sponsorship licence

  • Successful fast track applications under Tier 2 (General)

  • Successfully representing students during their appeal after their sponsoring college’s licence was revoked

  • Successfully challenging removal directions for an individual who had established a family life in the UK

  • Successfully challenging deportation for an individual who was exercising European Treaty Rights in the UK
